TIMES: from Kawakawa railway station: 10.45am, 12 noon, 1.15pm and 2.30pm. We suggest you arrive about 10 – 15 minutes earlier to purchase tickets.
From Taumarere railway station (no road access): 11.15am, 12.30pm, 1.45pm and 3pm.
A train may not run if there are no passengers leaving from Kawakawa. If you wish to be collected from Taumarere please ring the station: 09-404-0684 or 021-171-2697 at least 30 minutes prior to the train expected to leave from Taumarere

FARES: Return trips: $20 per adult, $5 per school-age child, free for children under school age, $18 for NZ Gold Card, and family ticket (defined as 2 adults and up to 3 children) $45.
Single Fare: $10 per adult, $2.50 per child. Bikes are carried free – bring a picnic for a great family day out.
